Lately, I’ve been thinking about responsibility — the kind that anchors you when your creative world starts spinning too fast.
There’s a fine line between chasing ambition and losing yourself to it. I’ve been trying to stay on the right side of that line. My days have been a mix of project deadlines, late-night editing, and exploring the city’s hidden corners — the kind of places that remind me why I fell in love with creation in the first place. Between the noise, I keep telling myself to rest, to eat better, to breathe a little deeper. I’m learning that discipline isn’t about control — it’s about care.
The more I slow down, the more I start to feel again. I’m noticing colors sharper, sounds richer, light softer on the walls. Inspiration is creeping back in, and for the first time in a while, I’m not just documenting — I’m experiencing.
And somewhere between trying to balance responsibility and rest, this week reminded me why I push so hard in the first place. I wrapped a powerful editorial interview with SuperRare and Offline Gallery, one of the leading platforms in digital art, and lined up a few highly anticipated features for ARCHIV3 I’m excited to share soon. I’ve been finalizing the programming for my upcoming digital art group show with a live ballet performance choreographed by Karley Wasaff— a dream collaboration that’s taken months of vision, revision, and resilience.
Late nights with musicians, creative direction sessions that stretch until sunrise, and leveling up my cinematography in ways I didn’t even expect — it’s all been part of the grind. The sleep deprivation isn’t glamorous, but I keep telling myself it has to pay off. And while I have this energy, this drive, and this healthy human carcass to carry me through it, I’m using every ounce of it. I have big dreams, and I’m not afraid to exhaust myself a little to meet them.
Tomorrow, something special comes to life:
A digital art group exhibition paired with a live ballet performance — The Weight of Worth.
It’s happening November 20th at POSH Headquarters in SoHo, and it’s a reflection on identity, value, and the balance between the physical and the digital. If you’re in New York, I’d love to see you there.
Are we ever truly enough? The Weight of Worth is a provocative one-night digital art exhibition & live immersive ballet performance exploring identity, sufficiency, & the fragile balance of value in contemporary culture.
Co-curated by @joshsauceda & @karleywasaff, the evening merges movement & media—inviting audiences to confront the pressure of perfection, the illusion of balance over self-doubt, & the radical act of showing up anyway.

I’ve been self-documenting more lately — the late nights, the small victories, the moments I used to keep to myself. It feels vulnerable to share this much, but it also feels necessary. If any of it resonates, a like or comment goes a long way in helping the algorithm show the work to people who might need it too.
Work With Me
I’m available for select creative direction, photography, film, and cultural production projects — especially those intersecting with art, music, or experimental technology.
If your team or brand is exploring storytelling in the digital age — through physical events, content campaigns, or hybrid activations — I’d love to collaborate. You can reach me directly at [email protected] or connect with me on IG/LinkedIn/Twitter. My portfolio is available here.
I’ve been visiting galleries all across the city lately as well, searching for inspiration and new collaborators. If you’re in NYC and want to talk art, tech, or just share a coffee, hit reply.
Additionally I’m in early development for my debut solo show — a fine-art photography exhibition planned for early–mid 2026. It’s my first foray into showing new work with the intention of auction and representation. If you’re part of a gallery, digital art platform, or agency in NYC that represents new media or hybrid artists, I’d love to connect.
Stay connected on Instagram with me @joshsauceda for ongoing projects, exhibitions, and a closer look at my creative process.
Thanks for sharing a few moments with me. <3
Love,
